RMG's plastics division is built around the collection, processing and supply of recycled plastic materials. We work with PET, HDPE and LDPE — three of Australia's most widely used plastic types — turning plastic waste into quality raw material ready for domestic supply and export.

Our Brisbane operations provide consistent, quality-assured raw material with flexibility to supply domestic customers or facilitate export to international markets.

Materials we work with

RMG handles three of Australia's most common recyclable plastic streams, each with distinct processing and market requirements.

PET

Polyethylene Terephthalate

Found in beverage bottles and food containers. One of the most widely recycled plastics globally, with strong demand for recycled raw material in fibre, strapping and bottle-to-bottle applications.

HDPE

High-Density Polyethylene

Used in milk jugs, detergent bottles, pipes and industrial containers. A high-value recycled material with consistent demand across manufacturing sectors.

LDPE

Low-Density Polyethylene

Found in plastic bags, film wrap and flexible packaging. LDPE plastic is increasingly sought-after as Australia's plastic film recovery infrastructure grows.
